On January 20, 2025, Israeli extremist settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, raided Al-Funduq and Jinsafut near Qalqilya. **On December 25**, Israeli forces rounded up dozens of Palestinians, including men, women, children, disabled people and even a baby in Gaza's Yarmouk Stadium. Israeli forces further solidified its devastation by employing tanks and bulldozers to level the pitch. **Sexual harrassment** According to information received by Euro-Med Monitor, during the last days of December, the Israeli army has been detaining hundreds of Palestinians in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood in Gaza City. *"Among them are dozens of women who were taken to Yarmouk Stadium, where they had their veils removed and were searched by soldiers. Many of them also endured explicit abuse, beatings, and harassment".* Palestinian males, including children as young as 10 years old and elderly people over the age of 70, were forced to take off all of their clothes except their underwear and line up in a humiliating manner in front of the women detained in the same stadium. Dozens of bodies are currently held in refrigeration units at Israel’s National Center for Forensic Medicine, with their release conditioned on inhumane requirements such as nighttime burials, bans on public funerals, and the delivery of mutilated or frozen remains. Roughly 1,500 from Gaza reportedly stored at the Sde Teiman military camp according to an Haaretz report published in July 2025. According to the *Palestinian National Campaign to Retrieve the Bodies of Martyrs*, Israel continues to detain the remains of at least 479 Palestinians, including 256 buried in secret military graveyards known as “cemeteries of numbers.” These sites, established in the late 1960s, strip victims of identity and dignity, replacing names with numbered plaques and withholding all records from families—a policy of erasure emblematic of Israel’s systematic dehumanization of Palestinians. Since October 2023, at least 79 detainees have died in Israeli prisons, while hundreds remain forcibly disappeared, evidencing torture, execution, and systematic abuse. ## **Suspicions of organs traffic** The kidnapping of the bodies of slain civilians from the Gaza Strip renews suspicions among the Palestinian medias and people that the Israeli occupation is stealing organs from the bodies of killed Palestinians. WAFA article notes that, in 2009, Israeli media revealed that the occupying state owns the largest human skin bank in the world, and years later, the director of the Israeli Skin Bank told Israeli Channel 10 in March 2014 that the bank’s skin reserve amounts to about 170 square meters. These numbers are considered illogical in Israel as its population refuses to donate organs, for reasons and religious beliefs, ranking it third in the world and raising doubts about the source of these organs. Dr. Ismail Al-Thawabta, Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, claimed: “We also have serious suspicions that Israel has stolen organs from some of these martyrs — corneas, livers, and other internal organs — which were clearly missing when the bodies were examined.” On November 9, in an interview with Al Jazeera English and Arabic , Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta revealed medical evidence indicating that vital organs — including hearts, lungs, kidneys, and corneas — were surgically stolen by the Israeli occupation from Palestinian martyrs in Gaza. Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah told Al Jazeera he was “sent photographs of the bodies that were received by the Palestinian Ministry of Health from the Israeli army.” “The bodies show clearly surgically removed lungs, heart, kidneys and liver – done in a professional, surgical way, using sharp bone saws, causing zero damage to surrounding tissues,” “These bodies also had liquid nitrogen burns on their skin, but no other injuries. It’s unlikely the organs were retrieved post-mortem. All of these bodies belonged to Palestinians whose families said they had been imprisoned alive. So all of this is highly indicative of organ harvesting.” Abu Sittah noted that “every organ was removed as if ready for transplant.” Abu Sittah said the photographs were taken on October 17, shortly after Israel handed over 120 bodies. Ayat Omar Khadoura, 27 years old, from Beit-lahia was a Palestinian freelance journalist and podcast presenter. She was killed on November 20, 2023 As a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted her home in Beit lahia in northern Gaza, along with four members of her family, according to the Beirut-based press freedom group SKeyes, the news website Arabi 21, and London-based Al-Ghad TV. Khadoura shared videos on social media about the situation in Gaza, including on November 6, where, in a haunting video posted shortly before her death, Khadoura expressed her fear for her life, narrating the terrifying situation in her area following the use of white phosphorous and thermobaric bombs. She called “my last message to the world” where she said, “We had big dreams but our dream now is to be killed in one piece so they know who we are.”"This could possibly be my last video," Khadoura said, in tears. "The situation is very frightening, and the whole thing is very terrifying. May our lord have mercy on us." Al-Hassanat, who had previously documented her experiences living under Israeli bombardment in a poignant article a year after the 2014 conflict escalation, was a dedicated journalist committed to conveying the truth of conflicts.
