On February 5, 2026, a 16-year-old Palestinian boy was shot in the back by live fire after Israeli forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, according to local and medical sources.

According to Eid Ahmed, director of the Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Israeli soldiers prevented ambulances from reaching the wounded teenager and continued holding him, while coordination efforts were underway with the Red Cross to secure his transfer for treatment.

Eyewitnesses reported that troops fired live ammunition and tear gas at residents during the raid.
