He was killed one month later, on February 6, by an explosive device explosion in the Nur al-Shams refugee camp near Tulkarm. An officer from the Cherry unit was seriously injured. Yehuda left behind parents and six brothers and sisters.
"Her sister Ofra sat next to the mother. Both in turn told about the exemplary character who was, "serious, orderly, responsible, sweet. He was born on 1.1.2000, like a gift for a thousand years. " (...)The family immigrated from Ethiopia in 1995. Yehuda was born in Israel to Mollin, a gardening worker at the Zichron Ya'akov local council, and Netro works at the Pardes Hana-Karkur local council. He studied at Ami High School "T Netivot-Dror" in Or Akiva. His cousin Eitan Alma, a resident of Pardes Hana, told about him. "He loved the service in the IDF very much and was very proud of it". He always tried not to worry the family and would say that he was serving close here, even when he went inside. Two months ago he was released from Sedir but actually he had no freedom because he was immediately recruited into the reserves. He devoted all the free time to Torah studies and if there was time left he would go play football".
Rabbi Rami Kader, director of the Ami Yeshiva "T Netivot-Dror Or Akiva" where R.S.L. (res.) Yehuda Ghetto studied: "The yeshiva community and its graduates are grieving and hurting for the fall of our beloved graduate, Yehuda, at the hands of the sons of injustice". Yehuda had a good eye and a good heart and therefore was a student loved and loved by everyone, by his friends and teachers. A humble boy who loved life, his family and his people and sought to serve the country and protect it from those who sought its life. Our hearts are broken and we seek to embrace his dear family and all his lovers".
Yoni Hakimi, head of the Pardes Hana Karkur local council paid tribute to him: "Today our colony lost another one of its sons in the unbearably difficult war. The late Maj. Yehuda Ghetto is the 9th space in our colony from the outbreak of war. He was a valuable person who grew up in a dear family for the love of the homeland. We send our heartfelt condolences to the parents, siblings and his family. May his memory be blessed".
The local council Pardes Hana Karkur calls on the residents. And the colony paid its last respects to him with Israeli flags from Police Square (near the old Egged complex) towards the Boys' Road and the corner of the Mishmaret Road.
