A moral and legal crossing by one of Israel’s senior journalists.
The Geneva Convention protects journalists on the battlefield only when they act as journalists. The moment they take direct part in military activity, they become fully legitimate and legal military targets for the other side.
I am very glad to see the wave of protest from journalists and citizens flooding the internet over this serious incident"
